Vitamin C

It also helps to restore damaged vitamin E in the body. The skin contains a large amount of vitamin C, but this amount decreases with age. Vitamin C is necessary for the skin and the rest of the body's tissue to maintain its normal functions. Ultraviolet light from solar radiation also reduces the skin's content of vitamin C. In addition, vitamin C is important for teeth and bones.

 

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin which contribute to the protection of the body’s cells against oxidative stress, which is partly responsible for the normal aging of the cells.


Biotin
Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin, formerly called vitamin B8. It  functions as a coenzyme and contributes to the body's normal energy metabolism. Biotin also helps to maintain normal skin, mucous membranes, and hair.


Zinc
Zinc is an essential mineral with antioxidant properties. It takes part in about 200 different enzyme functions in the body where it contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and vision. The skin contains six percent of the body's total amount of zinc and is incorporated as a stabilizing factor in skin cell membranes. Zinc is required for the formation of DNA, and the proteins used to produce hair cells and is also needed for the cell division leading to the formation of nails.

Hair and nails consists predominantly of keratin which is a protein. Collagen
