1. Can Evelle be used by pregnant and breastfeeding?
Answer:
The only ingredient in Evelle that could be in question in this regard is extract of French maritime pine.
There is no reason to believe that this ingredient is unsafe for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, but it has never been studied in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it is not known if the active components of the supplement pass through breast milk or if this would cause any problems in nursing infants.
On this background we do not recommend Evelle for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
2. Can Evelle be used by men?
Answer:
Although most Evelle users are women, there's actually not a single active ingredient in Evelle that will not also benefit men.
3. What scientific research has been made with Evelle?
Answer:
In 2004 researchers from an independent Skin Institute in Germany did a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with Evelle. Sixty-two women aged 45-73 years participated. The results from this trial showed that skin elasticity, measured using an optical cutometer, was found to be statistically significant increased by 9% after 6 weeks of treatment compared with placebo. Skin roughness, as evaluated by three-dimensional microtopography imaging, was found to be statistically significant lowered by 6% compared with the control group after 12 weeks treatment. The researchers conclude: Evelle can potentially improve visible signs of cutaneous ageing.

4. What does the ingredient 'Collagen' consist of?
Answer:
The collagen content is an unique blend of collagen from fish (mainly the skin). The collagen has been hydrolyzed which means it is broken down into small peptides making it easier to absorb into the bloodstream. (There are no shark ingredients in Evelle. Also we have a signed guarantee from our supplier of collagen, that the fish used does not involve protected or endangered species.
5. How long before you can see an effect of Evelle?
Answer:
With a normal dose of two tablets a day we know from a study done with Evelle that it took 6 weeks to see an effect on micro wrinkles.
After 12 weeks an effect on on skin smoothness was seen.
We suspect that the effect on smokers is the same as in non-smokers.
